When wrapped in the darkness
The light burned in brilliance
Searing into the soul
But to turn from the light hurts
more than the darkness ever could
but the darkness has many shades
that turn the angles wings to black
and hides the tears that never fall
the sole cries out for an eternity
for past wounds hurt scar and bleed
leaving marks that are more than skin deep
for the ones who see the light and dark
and live in the gray shadows in between
see both in all there brilliance and the beauty of both
may they wipe away the tears that never fall
may they unfold the wings and fly
though the shifting colours
and all ways see both the velvet dark
and dazzling light

All art has a canvas but not all art is placed in a gallery for rich people to stare at. This art has a secret meaning. A hidden meaning that comes from everyday people and every day places, however out of the ordinary the artist and canvas is.
